With impact
This book grew out of a personal experience with psychosis, but the story doesn't stop with me.
During my own journey, I've learned how important it is to have places where people feel understood. Where they can talk openly about psychosis, without judgment. Where recovery isn't romanticized, but taken seriously.
The Anoiksis Association has been committed to supporting people who have experienced psychosis and their loved ones for years. They offer information, recognition, and a community where no one needs to feel alone. This directly addresses the reason for this book.
By donating 7.5% of each book sold, I want to give back to an organization that creates space for openness and healing. Not as a distant gesture, but as a conscious choice to connect this story to something bigger than myself.
This book is about vulnerability, but also about responsibility. About honesty, but also about commitment.
For me, that 7.5% is self-evident.
